About Chokmah

A school built to raise Kingdom builders.

Chokmah exists to raise a generation of young people who discover their God-given design, grow in wisdom and step into the world equipped to lead, serve and build.

Vision

To raise Kingdom builders who recognise their diverse smarts.

At Chokmah we believe every child is fearfully and wonderfully made, carrying a unique design from God. Our vision is a school where academic knowledge, vocational skills and Kingdom character grow together, on purpose, so that every graduate steps into their God-given calling.

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart." — Jeremiah 1:5

Mission

To design an education that integrates academics, vocational skills and faith.

We deliver the full IEB curriculum alongside vocational exposure through six faculty departments, woven together with mentorship, life skills and Kingdom values. The result is a graduate who is academically ready, vocationally aware and internally anchored in purpose.

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." — Psalm 139:14

Our Story

From 2 learners to 357.

In 2021, Chokmah Independent School opened its doors in Kempenville, Cape Town, with just 2 learners and a bold vision. Today, 357 learners from Gr 1 to Gr 12 call Chokmah home, supported by 33 dedicated staff members.

The growth has been extraordinary, but we are just getting started. In 2026, we are launching CISA (our sports branch), transitioning to the IEB curriculum, and building six faculty departments that will give every child exposure to vocational skills alongside academic excellence.

  • 2021: Started with 2 learners and a Kingdom vision
  • 2024: Grew to hundreds of learners across Gr 1-12
  • 2026: Launching CISA, transitioning to IEB, building 6 faculties
  • Next: R42M capital campaign for permanent campus
